Birthrights
Seeming's Blessing, the 5pt Merit
This merit is not in use due to ambiguity between the corebook and the player's guide; while the players guide implies that birthrights are evident in mortal seeming as well as faerie mein, the corebook provides this merit to enforce that as an option rather than an inherent feature. We have cut out the corebook implication to use the players guide, instead, making it so birthrights are evident in mortal seeming without this merit.
Mages and The Dreaming
Mages with an Arete rating of 4 or higher appear to Changelings as Enchanted mortals in the Dreaming. They do appear, and seem to coexist between the planes. However, they do not have a mein, they simply transcend the two planes and exist as they appear normally in both.
Mages are not susceptible to Chimerical damage (they take it as bashing or lethal, depending on the nature of the damage), but they may interact with Chimerical creatures and objects.
Chimerical Damage
Chimerical damage inflicted on a character may be soaked with 1/2 the victim's Glamour pool, rounded down. |
